Venue – How to reach the Belgrade Garden
Venue
The conference will be taking place at the Center for the Promotion of Science (map), University of Belgrade Teacher Education Faculty (map), and University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy (map). All locations are in the city centre, within a short walk from each other, and easily reachable by public transport from anywhere in the city.
Coming to Belgrade by TRAIN
Due to railway reconstructions, Belgrade is at the moment not well connected by train (the only good connection is with the city of Novi Sad).
Coming to Belgrade by BUS
Coming to Belgrade by CAR
Belgrade is on international E70 and E75 highway routes and it is easily accessible by car. To keep in spirit with the eco-friendly nature of the conference, please try to share your vehicle with others if you opt for this mode of transport.
Coming to Belgrade by PLANE
Belgrade has one international airport (Nikola Tesla). Airports in Niš, Budapest, and Timisoara are relatively close and there are shuttle services and bus lines to Belgrade (e.g., https://terratravel.rs/, https://geatours.rs/). Less conveniently, the airport in Kraljevo is also relatively close and there are bus lines between Belgrade and Kraljevo.
Accommodation
We recommend finding accommodation in the city centre, where the venue is. Google Maps offers public transport routes in case you are considering a location not within walking distance.
To help make this event truly affordable and also spark new connections, we will contact nearby hostels to ask for discounts for our participants and an option to group them in the same rooms. Please get in touch if you are interested in this option.
